From Farm to Table: The Culinary Connection

Never has understanding where, exactly, our food comes from been as critical as it is now. Starting with farmers and producers, we will explore the food supply chain and how it affects local businesses who rely on it.

Three well-known chefs will share their experiences and insights into the future of the food industry and what we are learning from COVID-19.

Stick around after the panel discussion for a live cooking demonstration with Chef Jenny B from Jane Bond BBQ. She will be cooking up Turkey Dinner Leftover Fried Dumplings Paired with Cranberry Sesame Soy Sauce. Jump into the fall season and learn how to turn your turkey dinner leftovers into a fun and tasty appy!

Born and raised in the land of spices, Krish was passionate in learning and exploring the culinary world, right from his school days. After completing PG in Hospitality Management from the West London College, his career got a brilliant start at the Savoy Hotel,U.K where he gained invaluable knowledge working in the Escoffier Kitchen. He then got transferred to the Rockies where he worked at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotels. Krish was privilleged enough to be associated with the Westin Calgary Hotels and the beautiful Calgary Zoo as well. He is also the title winner of Chopeed Canada Season 3. Currently working as a Dual Executive Sous Chef for the Calgary Marriott and Delta airport Hotels,Krish has taken keen interest in enhancing food sustainability and in knowing the products that we give to our esteemed guests by promoting the local suppliers and farmers so as to reduce the carbon foot print.He never let the food go waste and strongly believes in giving back to the community in every possible way.

You will spot this Chef at Weddings, Corporate Events, Birthday Parties, Fulfilling BBQ Cravings at he restaurant, and or spreading the Q from the Jane Bond BBQ Food Truck! Flavours from Jamaican Jerk Sauce, to Bourbon Caramel, to Coconut Cornbread, Texas Chili – with unique menu items like crawfish, pork belly, catfish, and some of the provinces best Brisket. Yep. It’s Pink. And Juicy. Chef Jenny B is passionate about her grill and craft! 

Manager of Policy and Programs, Canadian Cattlemen’s Association (CCA)

Brady manages CCA’s Domestic Agriculture Policy and Regulations Committee and Animal Health and Animal Care Committee, providing research, analysis and coordination for CCA’s national policy development. He also oversees the Cattlemen’s Young Leaders program, which provides mentorship and networking opportunities for Canada’s young cattle producers and beef industry enthusiasts. Brady remains active in his family’s ranch near Jenner, Alberta and graduated from the School of Public Policy’s Master of Public Policy program in 2015.
