Join the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape (SAPL) as it celebrates Prof. R. Douglas Gillmor’s lasting legacy to the architecture profession and to our city. As the founding director of our architecture program and a pivotal member of SAPL (formerly the Faculty of Environmental Design), Prof. Gillmor was a compassionate and thoughtful studio teacher who shaped generations of Calgary practitioners. The Gillmor Block Course was named in recognition of his substantial contribution.

This event is also the opening reception for CURRENT, the inaugural alumni exhibition, and a part of Alumni Weekend. Explore the diversity of work from more than 50 alumni, from focused research, furniture design and architectural practices, to landscape architecture, regional planning and public consultation.

The exhibition runs until Sept. 22.
