Alumni Field Trip: A Night at the CATE Centre

Ever wondered how law enforcers train to catch cybercriminals? Or how strong your email password really is? Or what a state-of-the-art cybersecurity facility looks like?
This January, brave the cold for a behind-the-scenes look at the Cybersecurity Assessment, Training and Experimentation (CATE) Centre!
At this hands-on tour, you’ll hear from experts at ENFOCOM Cyber, as well as the Calgary Police Service. Learn tips and tricks to stay safe from cybercrime, see how the experts train, test the strength of your password and even try your hand at some (simulated) hacking!
Registration is limited to 50 spots and includes light food and beverages. Free parking is available on site for the duration of the event.
