Alumni LEGO Challenge

Alumni All-Access | Oct. 19 | 1 to 4 p.m.

Taylor Institute Forum (TI160), UCalgary Main Campus

Become the star of the show at the Alumni LEGO Challenge! Join Calgary firefighters and LEGO Masters season three runners-up Stephen and Stephen to build and win.

Using only the provided LEGO materials, you and a teammate will have 1.5 hrs to create a build that includes a mini version of UCalgary's mascot, Rex. The catch? Much like on the LEGO Masters show, the theme will only be revealed right before the challenge begins, and you can surely expect some twists along the way!

Be sure to also bring your creative and challenging building questions to ask the masters, as Stephen and Stephen stop by to offer tips and tricks judging your final results.

Your ticket price includes competition admission for a team of two, one LEGO kit (based on your chosen difficulty level) to use as your building materials, refreshments, and a complimentary parking code for UCalgary Main Campus.

Ticket options:

  • Beginner Team (one “team captain” ticket and one “teammate”): $30
  • Advanced Team Captain (one “team captain” ticket and one “teammate” ticket): $45

Your LEGO kit will include one LEGO Creative Brick Box in medium (beginner level, valued at $45) or large (advanced level, valued at $75).
