Ladle UP! Volunteer for Food Prep

This is a chance to slice, dice and make a difference at UCalgary's Campus Food Hub!
We’re looking for volunteers to prep ingredients for delicious soups that will be cooked fresh for our students. This volunteer opportunity is a great way to reconnect with your alma mater, meet fellow alumni and support our vibrant community.
Whether you’re a chopping champion or just want to help out, your time and effort will go a long way in nourishing our students’ bodies and minds.
Please note that registration is through our volunteer portal, Better Imapct. You will need to create a profile if you have not previously volunteered with us.
About the venue
The Campus Food Hub is a space dedicated to improving food access and food literacy for students. The Ladle UP! program provides an opportunity for students to have a soup lunch for $2, made on-site with a focus on nutritious and filling whole ingredients. Ladle UP! helps students stretch their food budget and stay fuelled throughout the day.
The Campus Food Hub is located at 102, 250 Collegiate Blvd N.W. in Crowsnest Hall (see map) on UCalgary’s Main Campus. Learn more about getting to and parking on campus.
Please note that we will provide a parking code so that you may park for free to volunteer.
