Notice of 2026 Annual General Meeting of UCalgary Alumni Association Members
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the Members of the University of Calgary Alumni Association (UCAA) will be held virtually from Calgary, Alberta on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the hour of 12 p.m. MT via Zoom. All UCalgary alumni are invited. You will receive the meeting link in your confirmation email upon registration.
The schedule of the meeting is:
1. To approve the Agenda for the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM);
2. To approve the Minutes of the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM);
3. To receive the Annual Report of the President and Chair of the UCAA;
4. To receive the Report of the Executive Director, Alumni Engagement;
5. To receive update on the status of the Alumni Association and its Board of Directors;
6. To appoint, elect, and re-elect Board Directors;
7. To transact such further and other business as may be properly brought before the meeting.
The names of the returning Directors to the Board to be appointed with terms expiring at the Annual General Meeting in 2027 are:
- William O’Yeung BComm’91
- Sabiha Zaman BSc’02, MBT’02, MSc’07
The names of Directors to be re-elected to the Board with terms expiring at the Annual General Meeting in 2028 are:
- Nina Rehill-Pattar BA’26, BA’21
- Lorelei Lachambre MC’05
- Jonathan Chang BSc’97
The names of Directors to be elected to the Board with terms expiring at the Annual General Meeting in 2028 are:
- David Holub BSc’85
- Dr. Christopher Eagle BSc’77, MD’77
- Amanda Boadi BHSc’14
- Jorge Bermudez MEng’02
In accordance with the Bylaws, a Member of the UCAA is a graduate from a University of Calgary degree program, or other such member as may be determined by the University and the Board of the UCAA from time to time.
