About the speaker
Ana Stepanchuk, PhD’22 (she/her)
Ana created ol.facto to explore the power of fragrance as a form of storytelling. With a PhD in neuroscience and a background in Alzheimer’s research, her work bridges science, art and community wellness. Her current focus is developing personalized, scent-based interventions to support emotional well-being through recreational fragrance workshops as well as engagement sessions for vulnerable populations. Ana believes that smell has the power to shape how we see ourselves and the world around us, and her work reflects this philosophy, where science meets the art of self-expression, and every scent tells a story.
