Alumni Career Workshops

A variety of on-going career-related workshops and coaching is offered to UCalgary Alumni at no charge.  These are held virtually through zoom and led by an experienced Career Coach.

Whether you are exploring a path connected to your degree or contemplating something else, gain self-awareness and determine your next steps towards your preferred future. Geared towards newer career professionals and graduates. Participants will have the option to schedule a follow-up 1:1 session with their career coach.

Learn about available resources that will help give you an edge, and get your resume questions answered. Participants will have the option to schedule a resume review following the workshop.

Much like physical and mental wellness, it is important to check in on your career values and motivations to confirm you're on the best path towards your preferred future.

Meet Your Career Coach

Andrea Christensen, BEd’99, CDP (she/her)

Andrea Christensen is the alumni career development specialist at UCalgary, where she supports alumni in all stages of their career and professional development through coaching and program development. Andrea, who also holds a Master of Education from the University of New Brunswick, has worked in various roles within career development and education and is a sessional instructor at Mount Royal University. She truly enjoys helping others at different points in their career journey, whether it be to discover their value, find meaningful work, support career pivots or work out next steps.
