UCalgary Alumni's Build a Better Holiday Contest
Goofy, colourful, over-the-top, sweet, sour, gorgeous, frothy, elegant — there’s room for all those adjectives in this year’s contest.
Bigger than ever, we now have three categories: Ugly Holiday Sweater; Yummiest Holiday Snack (sweet or savoury); and Seasonal Cocktail (with or without alcohol).
Here’s how it works:
Send us a photo of whatever it is (sweater, snack or cocktail) along with a brief description and the recipe between now and Dec. 20, 2021. Either send us a DM on Instagram or email alumni@ucalgary.ca and use Holiday Contest in the subject line. Not only will you grab a bit of fame if we run your submission, but on Dec. 22, 2021, we will notify the first, second and third place winners, picked by our crackerjack panel of judges. Winners get a choice of prizes with first place having first choice and so on…
The prizes are:
- $150 gift certificate to Soma Hammam & Spa
- $75 gift card to Williams-Sonoma
- $75 gift card to Winners/HomeSense.
