Notice of 2025 Annual General Meeting of UCalgary Alumni Association Members
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the Members of the University of Calgary Alumni Association (UCAA) will be held virtually from Calgary, Alberta on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the hour of 12 p.m. via Zoom. All UCalgary alumni are invited. You will receive the meeting link in your confirmation email upon registering.
The schedule of the meeting is:
1. To approve the Agenda for the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM);
2. To approve the Minutes of the 2024 Annual General Meeting;
3. To receive the Annual Report of the President and Chair of the UCAA;
4. To receive the Report of the Executive Director, Alumni Engagement;
5. To approve updates to the UCAA Bylaws;
6. To appoint, elect, and re-elect Board Directors;
7. To transact such further and other business as may be properly brought before the meeting.
The names of the returning Directors to the Board with terms expiring at the Annual General Meeting in 2026 are:
- Kate Wong, BN’12
- Jessica Zutz, BA’12, BSc’12
The names of Directors to be re-elected to the Board with terms expiring at the Annual General Meeting in 2027 are:
- Akash Asif, Bachelor of Science’15, Bachelor of Commerce’15 and a Master of Public Policy’18
- Kristin Anderson, Bachelor of Arts’96
- Jaret Hargreaves, Bachelor of Science’00, Bachelor of Science’04, and a Master of Science’08
- Courtney Leblanc, Bachelor of Arts’22
- Aaron Park, Bachelor of Science in Engineering)’07 and a Bachelor of Education’11
- Fay Qian, MBA’19
The name of the Director to be elected to the Board with terms expiring at the Annual General Meeting in 2027 is:
- Olabode Adegbayike, Bachelor of Science’16
In accordance with the Bylaws, a Member of the UCAA is a graduate from a University of Calgary degree program, or other such member as may be determined by the University and the Board of the UCAA from time to time.
