Shagufta Farheen

Biography

Shagufta Farheen is a second-year International Business Strategy student at the Haskayne School of Business (HSB). She works with World Vision Canada as a National Youth Ambassador and is a champion for child protection in the matters of child labour, forced marriages, and accessible education. Here at the university, Shagufta is Founder and Co-President of the newly formed club, World Vision UCalgary and plans to host several campaigns and stunts on campus to create a dialogue among the student body on issues pertaining to child labour and hunger. 

In the coming academic year, she will be partaking in the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition, and will represent HSB as an Ethics delegate
