James brings more than 15 years of experience in higher education, spanning teaching, curriculum design and professional training across arts, medicine and business. He previously spent six years at UCalgary’s Haskayne School of Business as a career advisor, supporting student development, employer engagement and job-readiness initiatives. Trained as a sociologist, his work is shaped by a deep interest in learning, resilience and navigating change in evolving labour markets.
