Join Adam Czarnecki, BA’00, for an inspiring talk from a real-life example of a graduate with a unique career trajectory, who, after venturing overseas for employment after being unable to secure work in Canada, returned to significant challenges securing work again due to a lack of Canadian experience on his resumé.
Instead of relying on traditional methods of job searching — like submitting online applications — this grad implemented the successful strategies of networking, temporary work agencies, volunteering and community engagement, which were pivotal in his journey from being unemployed and living in his parent's basement to becoming the VP of a multi-million-dollar heavy-duty truck company.
Please note that this session is part of the Grow Your Career Conference full in-person conference day on Feb. 1.
