Notice of 2023 Annual General Meeting of UCalgary Alumni Association Members

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the Members of the University of Calgary Alumni Association (UCAA) will be held virtually from Calgary, Alberta on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the hour of 12 p.m. via Zoom. All UCalgary alumni are invited. You will receive the meeting link in a confirmation email upon registering.

The schedule of the meeting is:

1. To approve the Agenda for the Annual General Meeting (AGM);

2. To approve the Minutes of the 2022 AGM;

3. To receive the Annual Report of the President and Chair of the UCAA;

4. To approve updates to the UCAA Charter;

5. To receive the Report of the Senior Director, Alumni Engagement;

6. To elect and re-elect Board Directors;

7. To transact such further and other business as may be properly brought before the meeting.

The names of the returning Directors to the Board with terms expiring at the Annual General Meeting in 2024 are:

The names of the Directors to be elected to the Board of Directors of the UCAA for a two-year term expiring at the Annual General Meeting in 2025 are:

  • Aaron Park, BSC (Eng)'07, BEd'11  
  • Courtney Pascoe, BA'22  
  • Jayrin Yue, MBA'21

  • Kristin Anderson, BA’96  
  • Jaret Hargreaves, BSc’00, BSc’04, MSc’08

The names of Directors who have already been appointed to the UCAA Board by resolution for a one-year term to expire at the Annual General Meeting in 2024 are: 

  • Nina Rehill, BA’16, BA’21  
  • Shagufta Farheen, BComm’22  
  • Lorelei Lachambre, MC’05  

 

In accordance with the Bylaws, a Member of the UCAA is a graduate from a University of Calgary degree program, or other such member as may be determined by the University and the Board of the UCAA from time to time.
