Most of us are new to doing the majority (if not all) of our coursework online. Figuring out how to thrive in this new environment can take a bit of time.

The Student Success Centre (SSC) is here to help make your transition a little easier. Below you’ll find a few of the resources and supports they offer that’ll help you navigate your first year online.

To get you started, the SSC has compiled a list of resources and tips for online learning. They also have a quiz to help you determine your strengths and where you may need support when it comes to self-directed learning.

Staying motivated when most of your work is online can be tricky. The SSC has suggestions to help with your motivation including self-care, combatting procrastination, and keeping yourself accountable. The SSC also has strategies to help you succeed related to reading, note taking and participating in online courses. And since nearly every course has some sort of assessment, here are some resources and tips to help your test taking go smoothly.
