Nursing professor joins leading professional forum for science, practice and education in the field of pain

Dr. Eloise Carr, PhD was recently elected to Council for the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP)

Congratulations to Dr. Eloise Carr, PhD, who was recently elected to Council for the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP). Carr is one of three Canadians on the council made up of five executive officers, who serve two-year terms, and 15 councilors who serve six. She has previously served on the British Pain Society Council and is currently secretary on the Canadian Pain Society, a chapter of IASP.  

Founded in 1973, IASP is the leading professional forum for science, practice and education in the field of pain and is made up of more than 7,000 members in 133 countries. Membership is open to all professionals involved in research, diagnosis or treatment of pain.
